Being a surgeon and practicing surgery for more than two decades, most of my working hours were full of emotions filled with smiles, sufferings, hope, helplessness, happiness, and tears. We doctors see happiness and smiles with a lot of hope with the birth of a child at one moment and rushing a newborn to a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) next moment. We faced almost all kind of different difficult challenges of life and death entwined with many social, economic and political problems.
